Perché mi entusiasma la moda dedicata alla Sposa e alla Cerimonia? La risposta convenzionale è: "Perché posso dire di aver contribuito a questo particolare settore sin da quando ha mosso i suoi primi passi". In realtà c'è un motivo ben più importante: mi piace disegnare abiti che facciano sentire le donne uniche e che le accompagnino nei momenti più felici della loro vita. Mi piace cercare la bellezza nelle linee, in un tessuto. E condividerla. Faccio questo lavoro da molti anni e l'ho visto cambiare, profondamente. Non credo si possa rifiutare questo cambiamento che è, per la maggior parte, positivo. I valori di base rimangono, sono i mezzi, i procedimenti, le fonti di ispirazione a evolvere. L'ispirazione è nell'arte, nella fotografia, nella grande moda contemporanea e internazionale, che seguo con passione. Per il futuro cercherò di incorporare queste influenze in creazioni che siano sempre più moderne, eleganti. Irresistibili. Il "sopra le righe" non fa per me. Il "senza tempo" sì.
Why am I passionate about Bridal and Ceremony fashion? The conventional answer would be: "Because I can say I have contributed to this field ever since it took its first steps". But there's more, a much deeper reason: I like designing dresses that make women feel unique, for them to wear on the happiest days of their lives. I like finding beauty in a particular line, a motif, fabric, and I like to share that beauty. I've been devoted to this craft for a long time and I've seen it change deeply. I believe you can't refute this change: it is, mostly, for good. The values at the core of it are the same; what has evolved is the means, the methods, the sources of inspiration. Inspiration lies in art, photography, in today's international world of fashion - all of which I follow closely. For the future I will try and weave all these influences into creations all the more modern, elegant, irresistible. "Over the top" is not my thing: "timeless" is.
